An 18-year-old woman has killed a 17-year-old woman in a fight that broke out between the two at a borehole in Lakee Village, Omot Sub-county in Agago District.

Alice Laker reportedly fought with Vicky Ajalo yesterday (Saturday) at around 3pm for an unclear reason when the duo had gone to fetch water from a borehole.

After being thoroughly thumped, Ajalo was rushed to Omot Health Centre 3 where she died shortly after arrival.

On learning that Ajalo had died, Laker took off to an unknown hideout.

Mr Jimmy Patrick Okema, the Aswa River Region Police Publicist, told Kazi-njema News the police are hunting for the fugitive Laker to answer charges of murder.

“The suspect is still at large. But we are hopeful that she will be apprehended soon by our men (police officers) hunting for her,” said Mr Okema.
