The tournament aims to mobilise and unite clans, expose the youth to different parts of the kingdom, promote talent and enable the youth to lead a healthy life.
The tournament will also help in the registration of all clans in Bunyoro and their executives as part of the strategy to ensure that the kingdom subjects benefit from programmes like scholarships and others that may emerge for their wellbeing.
The competitions are part of the 28th Empango (Royal) celebrations that were held in June this year, according to the Kingdom Prime Minister, Mr Andrew Kirungi Byakutaaga Ateenyi.
The first edition of the tournament was held in 2018 before it was interrupted by the outbreak of Covid-19.
