The Bunyoro Tooro Muslim community is badly looking for financial support to further the construction of the regional multi-billion shilling complex building at their Regional Headquarters in Bwikya Cell, Hoima City.

They are requesting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to contribute towards raising the remaining Shs800m to see the Shs2.5b two-storeyed building construction completed.

At least Shs660m has so far been used for the construction of the building that will house the regional Khadhi’s office, the main mosque for Bunyoro Muslim District and a research and information centre among others.

The complex building whose construction currently stands at 40 per cent, according to the Regional Secretary, Mr Eid Magezi, has currently suffocated the Bunyoro Tooro region Muslim faithful’s financially.
