Kitara FC has once more bounced back on top of FUFA Big League table after thrashing Lugazi FC 1:0 in a game thriller played on Thursday evening at Kigaaya COU primary school playground.
The Royals broke the deadlock in just few minutes from the hour mark, thanks to Kasaija who put the unstoppable header passed Lugazi’s goalkeeper; giving the hosts the lead in the 90 minutes.
Kitara had gone three games without a win making them drop points and also dropping to the 3rd place.
However, now that they beat Lugazi, Kitara have shot back and sit on top of the table with 37 points in 19 games just with a goal difference with the 2nd and 3rd placed NEC and Mbarara city respectively which also have 37 points in 19 games.
Kitara FC will next Thursday play an away with Calvary FC.
