Bunyoro’s prominent football club – Kitara FC have bounced back on the FUFA Big League table after thumping Mukono’s Kyetume FC 2:1.

In the yesterday evening game played in Mukono district, Kitara FC got a late winner goal scored by Edson Agondeze who sent a curling effort past the goal keeper of Kyetume FC.

However, chaos sparked off after Kyetume fans overpowered the security and entered the playground protesting against the winning goal with just three minutes to the end of the game.

The referee decided to blow the final whistle after the situation failed to calm down.

Kitara FC now sit on the peak of the table with 51 points in 26 matches with just a point behind the second placed NEC FC.

The royals will next swing into action on Thursday against Luwero united hoping to secure a place in the Uganda premier League next season.
