The newly appointed Kabarole Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Julian Sarah Ayesiga, has resigned her elective post as directly elected Miirya Sub-county female youth councillor in Masindi District.

Her resignation was announced by the district local government speaker, Moses Kirya addressing the press at his office yesterday (Monday) morning.

Mr Kirya told journalists that he received and approved Ms Ayesiga’s official resignation letter on 19 this month after President Yoweri Museveni appointed her as RDC for Kabarole district.

Ms Ayesiga’s resignation means that the seat has fallen vacant. Now, the speaker says the district shall keep without any female youth representative for Mirya sub-county until a new council swears in May this year.
