President Yoweri Museveni has in another abrupt change in government made reshuffles to Resident District Commissioners with just hours left for the general elections as confirmed by his press secretary, Don Wanyama.

“Kaguta Museveni has reshuffled resident district commissioners,” Mr Wanyama said on Twitter.
In Bunyoro, Yosam Tumwebaze is Hoima RDC while Samuel Kisembo Araali is Hoima Resident City Commissioner (RCC) deputised by Richard Tabaaro who was once Hoima Deputy RDC before being sent to Kikuube to act as RDC. Newly appointed Amlan Tumusiime replaces Tabaaro as Kikuube RDC.
Peter Debele is Kiryandongo RDC; Rose Kirabira Kobusinge is Masindi RDC replacing Martin Mugabi who has been transferred to Serere as RDC while Deborah Mbabazi is Kibaale RDC as Daniel Kikoola is RDC for Kakumiro.
Lillian Ruteraho remains Kagadi RDC while Masindi’s deputy RDC, Longino Baheebwa has been transferred to Buliisa district.

Caroline K. Nanshemeza is Kibaale deputy RDC while Dominic Tibasiima is Masindi deputy RDC.
In Ruwenzori region, Julian Ayesiga is RDC Kabarole, Rogers Mbabazi is Fort Portal RCC; Peter Bisoborwa is RDC Kitagwenda while Asiimwe Grace Kakwenza is Kyegegwa RDC.
Apollo Bwebale Gume is Kyenjojo RDC while Mishac Kawamara Ruhuga is Ntoroko RDC as Jolly Tibemanya is Bunyangabu RDC. Geoffrey Mucunguzi is Kamwenge RDC.
In other regions, David Maxwell Kaboyo remains Kyankwanzi RDC deputised by Mark Baingana, Badru Ssebyalu is RDC Kiboga while Jonathan Akweteireho remains deputy RDC Amolatar.

Agnes Akello Ebong is Nwoya RDC, Robert Abaka for Nebbi, Festus Ayekobua is RDC Arua deputised by Robert Ocen while Martin Orochi is Arua RCC among others.
The move to reshuffle RDCs is seen to bolster security in different areas as the country heads to the polls.
Already, deployment has been beefed up in city centres and several urban areas across the country.
