Following reports of alleged assassination attempts, President Yoweri Museveni has transferred the Fort Portal Resident City Commissioner and his Deputy for North Division, Mr Godwin Kasigwa Angalia and Mr Allan Bamuha respectively.

Mr Angalia and Mr Bamuha who both hail from Bunyoro region have been hurling verbal artillery against each other pivoting on claims that one wanted to assassinate the other.
Mr Bamuha had in recent weeks been claiming that Mr Angalia had hired unknown assassins to slay him.
However, Mr Angalia has vehemently denied the claims that were the talk of the corridors of power in Fort Portal tourism city for about two weeks now.
After hearing the assassination reports vended by Mr Bamuha, President Museveni directed the Minister in charge of the Presidency, Ms Milly Babalanda, to effect the transfer of both Mr Angalia and Mr Bamuha from the main city of Tooro sub-region.

Mr Bamuha has been transferred to Kyenjojo district as Deputy Resident District Commissioner while Mr Angalia has been sent to Kibaale district district as Resident District Commissioner.
Mr Bamuha and Ms Angalia hail from Hoima city and Buliisa district respectively both in Bunyoro region.
