The Hoima Resident City Commissioner (RCC), Samuel Kisembo Araali, says an assessment of all technocrats in the city looms after it was noted that majority are not offering services to the expectations.

Mr Kisembo says it has been observed that central among some technical staff in the city is to amass wealth fraudulently instead of offering service to people vowing that such will be handled in accordance with the law.
The RCC adds that some civil servants have been found to relax at work while others are fond of absenteeism resulting in poor service delivery and slackening development. He warns that any civil servant who is not willing to deliver will not be tolerated.
He also warns incoming technocrats when Hoima city becomes operational to desist from any corrupt tendencies when they assume office.
Mr Kisembo also says security will increase both foot and motorised night patrols in the city to check criminals who vandalise installations including solar street lights and manhole covers at different points in the city.

Hoima city will fiscally become operational on July 1, this year.
