Forward Denise Omedi has left FUFA Big League side Booma Football Club based in Masindi for Uganda Premier League newcomers Kitara FC.
Omedi will sign for The Royals on a two-year employment contract.
He leaves Booma FC with a year left on his contract.
Omedi moved to Kitara after scoring 18 goals in the 2022/23 FUFA Big League season.
He was the joint top scorer with Henry Kitegenyi of Mbarara City to settle for the MVP’s accolade.
Police FC, another Big League entity was keenly chasing for his signature but the typical talisman put tough conditions for the move, among which included coming along with his Booma FC coach Fred Alinaitwe.
