Again: Onduparaka loses Muhammad Shaban to KCCA

Shaban Muhammad after being unveiled on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

Striker Muhammad Shaban has for the second time in five years left the Arua-based Onduparaka FC to join former StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions, KCCA FC.

The Lugogo outfit announced the signing in a transfer deal announced Tuesday.

In 2017, Shaban first crossed from Onduparaka side to KCCA where he scored 13 goals in his debut season before a year later in 2018 KCCA sold him to Raja Casablanca of Morocco where he played for one season and came back to Uganda to join Vipers SC.

However, while at Vipers, Shaban was riddled with injuries until he rejoined Onduparaka last season.

Morley Byekwaso, KCCA coach, is hopeful that Shaban will make it like he did when he scored 13 goals for Onduparaka in the 2021/2022 season.

Shaban joins a list of signings through this off-season transfer window.
