Masindi-based Booma FC has today Saturday, June 18, 2022, qualified for big league after beating Rwenzori Lions in the Kitara region playoffs.
The game played at Muhooro stadium in Kagadi district, saw Booma FC beat Rwenzori Lions 2:0.
Booma FC were the Albert group champions after coming out on top with 47 points from 19 games.
They were the only unbeaten team in the league, won 14 and drawn 5.
