A good podium is set. Boys and girls are in attendance. Parents and teachers are in presence. Musical instruments are set. It is massive at Bright Stars Nursery and Primary School located about 13km from Hoima City along the Hoima-Butyaba Road at Buhamba village in Kitoba Sub-county, Hoima District.

Ready to showcase their talent, girls and boys altogether hold traditional musical instruments to create appealing resonances as guests excitedly watch.

Stakeholders gather to celebrate the historical victory achieved in the 2022 Primary Living Examinations (PLE) as they look forward to excelling further in the 2023 national exams around the corner.

Melodic traditional instrumental music is among the most attractive activities of this event.

It is part of the co-curricular activities to promote talents and expose children to related employment opportunities, according to the school Director, Mr Denis Kaija.

Under the new curriculum, the government of Uganda promotes such activities as Music, Dance and Drama (MDD) and football.
