Emersion is the correct way of baptising true Christians, stresses Pastor Edward Isingoma of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

The pastor who is also the Communications Director at Western Uganda Field (WUF) recalled that Jesus, the Saviour was immersed in the flowing water of River Jordan like many others who were baptised as documented in the bible before and after Jesus’ earthly life.

The clergy was speaking at the climax of a-two-week evangelism crusade at Kiduuma trading centre in West Division, Hoima city yesterday (Saturday).

At least 12 converts were baptised during the baptism exercise in River Wambabya at Ruyanja-Kasasa Bridge.

The crusade was organised by SDA Central Church through its Ruyanja branch and the main preacher was Elder Edson Tibeetegya of Kiziimba SDA Church in charge of Buseruka branch.
