Kagadi farmers receive inputs

Farmers in Ruteete Sub-county, Kagadi District have today started receiving agricultural inputs under the Agricultural Cluster Development Project, reveals the Kagadi District Agricultural Officer, Mr James Turyahikayo.

The inputs that include bean and maize seeds and coffee seedlings were yesterday received by the Kagadi district agricultural office.

Mr Turyahikayo says the inputs are benefiting 1,156 farmers in the district.

The Ruteete Sub-county Agricultural Officer, Ms Desire Mparana, says “farmers getting the package worth Shs450,000 must have contributed 35 percent co-fund on which government paid 75 percent”.
