Hoima-based Kitara FC reached finals of the FUFA Big league after beating Kataka FC 7-6 in a match played today October 19, 2020 at the FUFA technical centre in Njeru, Jinja.
Kitara FC goalkeeper, Jamil Kiyimba, saved two penalties in post match penalties against Mbale’s Kataka FC.
The two teams had drawn 0-0 in normal time.
Finals will be played on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 with Kitara FC playing a winner between Ndejje University and Kiboga Young FC.
If Kitara FC wins the match on Wednesday, it will be promoted to the Uganda Premier League- Uganda’s top most soccer league.
