One person has died and two others injured in an accident that occurred at Kasagati Cell in Muhorro Town Council in Kagadi District.
The Kagadi District Police Commander DPC), Mr Stephen Kamar, identifies the dead as Isaiah Kaahwa, 32, a resident of Kasangati cell in in Muhorro town council.
The DPC told this online news portal that the accident occurred on Sunday night when the driver, Augustine Byamukama, 45, lost control of the vehicle on Kagadi-Muhorro Road.
The police officer added that Byamukama, a resident of Nyamiti ward in Muhorro town council and another person whose identity was not readily established by publication time sustained injuries when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned several times.
The duo is currently nursing wounds at Kagadi General Hospital.
Mr Kamar attributed the accident to over speeding adding that the car wreckage was towed to Muhorro police station.
