Irate residents of Kigarama Cell in Kyentale Ward, East Division in Hoima City today (Monday) set ablaze a vehicle that was carrying one stolen cow and six goats.

Justus Twesige said the incident took place at around 2am when residents became suspicious of the vehicle prompting them to block the road with rocks to apprehend the occupants but the driver drove over them before the vehicle overturned.

The two occupants jumped out, fled the scene forcing the residents to turn to the abandoned white Toyota Corona vehicle registration number UAF 732 R and set it in flames.
